On June 4-11, the first in the history of the IPSC world championship in practice shooting from a carbine was held at the multipurpose fire center of the Military Patriotic Park of Culture and Rest of the RF Armed Forces “Patriot”, in which over 600 athletes representing more than 40 countries took part.
Gold and silver medals in the Law Enforsement / Military category were taken by snipers of one of the federal counter-terrorist special units, whose weapons were equipped with new day riflescope DSF 1-7×24 (reticle in the first focal plane) produced by Dedal-NV. In general, out of eight shooters of two teams of this division, for chose “Dedal-NV” sights for participating in such a crucial match.
Following the results of seven days of the championship, the national team of our country became the first in the overall medal standings. In the asset of Russian shooters 11 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze medals. The second place in the team of the USA (5 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze), on the third step of the base were placed Finnish athletes (4 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals).
